This book made me end on wtf
Then another epilogue came out, and it made me wonder what had just happened. I loved the plot twists and the emphasis on these characters. Thank you to Colleen Hoover for making another amazing, 'Can't Put It Down' book.

as much as I hate the author, this book wasn't that bad compare to the rest of her books. It did have some suspense but it wasn't that intense as much as how others have described it and could've  been better
im glad i finished binge reading this in 2 nights but what i still wonder is was the manuscript or the letter the truth? And despite either one of them being the truth, all the characters weren't innocent anyway. Also the reason why I'm not taking any sides is cause I'm still confused but I kinda believe that the manuscript was true because how could a mother write something like that about her children especially in details it seems intentionally and real not an excerise to help her with her books although i also kinda agree with the letter cause most of the time the manuscript would yap about sex and bla bla and when verity mentioned on her letter that women arent that obsessed with sex and she truly loved her children and husband plus the manuscript felt too repetitive about sex  but i also think the manuscript was true AGAIN because if jeremy planned to kill verity which was mentioned on her letter why would he be taking care of her for 7-8 years? But he's a jerk too like hell I aint defending him like I said all of the characters have their flaws Jeremy killed his wife and lowen was part of it too and kept it a secret plus there was some infidelity going on there and she kept the letter a secret from jeremy before they move on with their lives with a new baby tsk

Well.. this book consumed me to the point I physically couldn’t put it down. Dark, sinister, twisty, suspenseful, captivating, thought-provoking, addictive, completely jaw-dropping, breathtaking.. the list could go on. Verity had to say the least some pretty fucked up chapters where I literally through the book away from me I was so disgusted. I wanted to claw my eyes out with what I was reading, yet it had me going back for more. It is incredibly well-written but I felt the ending was a bit rushed. I haven’t read anything like Verity before and I have read a few CoHo books but this is definitely different to anything else she has written.

Best book I've read in 2024! I read it while my electric was out due to hurricane milton and finished it in a couple of hours! I absolutely couldn't put it down. I'm usually a romance and mystical reader but wanted to try something new and it really opened me up to a whole new genre.
The main character is spunky, but not overbearing, smart but not uptight and mainly she is determined to figure out the mystery of this writer she just took on!

This book was crambed with lots of twists and turns which was great, though at time really quite far fetched which detracted a little from the enjoyment. I was left wanting more at the end of each chapter and found I was building lots of theories as I read. The characters were written in a way I found my feelings about them constantly changing.

I did like the end where you still didn't know which version of Verity was true ie the autobiogrpahy one or the letter one. Especially coupled with seeing the darker side of Jeremy. This was further emphasised when I read the bonus end chapter.
