A page turner where we find verity a mother, wife and author seriously injured after an accident bed bound unable to finish her successful book series and lowen an author tasked with finishing the series who moves into to verity’s home to get inside the mind of the successful author. Enjoyed the start of the novel.

Twists and turns and a very good read. Let your imagination wonder and think.

This book is fucked up.
Yes the ending was one hell of a plot twist but I don't know what I think of it.

At least this book made me understand trigger warnings..

This book. I came into reading this book with a set of expectations and it definitey threw those for a loop.  The tension in the book was palpable to the point that I had to put it down multiple times because it became too much.  As a mother the scenes that were in the manuscript were horrifying and heartbreaking.  There were spicy scenes that lightened the mood a bit but then you'd remember that there was this tension always lurking in the background.  Fiction is a crazy place and this book does a great job of diving into the dichotomy that a writer, I'm sure has to live and work through.  Great read, but kinda f***ed me up.

Lots of mystery and the truth unraveling slowly in this book. Some very dark topics so check content warnings. I was very pulled by this book to keep finding out what was going on but felt like the ending kind of duped me. I enjoyed the mystery of the story so gave a 4 star rating but feel a little unsatisfied by it.

I read this one years ago and didn't really remember the details.  I kept seeing it pop up on "best books to read" lists and since I'd just finished the "Starts/Ends with Us" series decided to re-read it. Glad I did.  Such a suspenseful book.  Creepy and fascinating at the same time.  It's one of those "hard to put down" books.
