just because i finished this book in a day does NOT mean it was so good i couldn't put it down, i simply had a boring weekend. LOL.

but seriously, colleen hoover writes for the masses and i can't fault her for it; she'd no doubt be a great netflix producer! her books are not written super well, detail is minimal and i have literally never felt chemistry between her characters and their love interests (can i say fucking EW to jeremy finishing inside of her w out saying ANYTHING? and then double FUCKING EW to lowen making a point to KEEP IT INSIDE OF HER?!?!?!). plot could have been interesting but ultimately made no sense and i found myself very bitter and disappointed with the ending.

What an introduction to Ms Hoover. I heard mixed reviews on this book, but honestly I was enthralled. It was an easy read that had me sinking my teeth into the edge of my seat. Would probably give this more than four stars, but wouldn’t say it is quite a five for me. Would highly recommend if you’re a Gone Girl fan.
