This book is needed for any woman who longs to live a life pleasing to God. This book puts so much into perspective, it is easy to understand and uses God's Word to make the resolutions you want to make for a better relationship with God. Not only is this for your relationship with God, but you make resolutions for being a loving wife, mother and a legacy leaver. This book is a keeper, needs to be brought out as a reminder of the resolutions you have made. If you are a woman after God's heart get this book!

While a few chapters in the book were applicable to my life, most were not. But I didn't have high expectations so it was fine. I did my best to glean what I could. This book is mainly for a young, stay-home or part-time working mom. Although the author tries to connect with women from other walks of life, she fails to make connection with anyone outside of her own demographics. Too bad. It would be nice to find a book with some depth on the topic of women resolving to be who they are called to be.

This book really made me think about myself as a wife, mother, and christian. I see things that I am doing right and things I need to do better. I do think reading this with a group would be better. I am going to try to reread this summer where I can journal after each chapter.

I definitely skimmed the last few chapters, after months of looking at it sitting on my desk and knowing that there were only 50 or so pages left to read. The idea of the book was actually much better than I was expecting after my initial impression of it being a Christian book coming out of a Christian movie. But the execution was just not there for me. It was just a bit too fluffy and superficial for my tastes, though I can see how it could be beneficial to someone else! The discussion from my mom's group was much better than actually reading the book itself.

This is the type of book that should be read in snippets. Read a little, ponder a little, act on the ponderings. Repeat. I love uplifting books that encourage me to be and do better. This is just one of those books.

Read this book with a community group at my church. The resolution for women is the female companion for the movie Courageous. There are some real practical lessons for Christian women. Some things I struggled with especially the Biblical femininity section but as a whole I found it helpful and motivating. It's definitely something better read as a group rather than solitary.

I honestly wasn't expecting much from this book, as it was a spinoff of a movie, and slightly off-topic at that. However, I found it to be more challenging and insightful than I expected, and it inspired some soul-searching on my part. In particular, I really enjoyed the chapters on parenting, and those that specifically addressed the relationship between husband and wife.

For me, this book was filled with affirmations of how a woman can live more fulfilled in all aspects of her life based on biblical teachings. The storytelling throughout the book made it personable. I also really enjoyed the recaps and reflection at the end of each chapter. This book was exactly what I needed and I know that I will refer back to it often!
