I came across this series while scrolling through TikTok. Kelsie Rae did a fabulous job at selling the story line and even better job at writing this series!

After seeing this book promoted on TikTok by the author, I so badly wanted to like it but just couldn’t get into it (last time I blind buy a whole series)
The book overall was just very disappointing. All the major points of conflict that you would expect to have big moments fall flat. I kept reading waiting for the climax book and it felt like it never came.
The characters were all very underdeveloped too. There were so many opportunities to go deeper with their backgrounds and motivations and she just… didn’t.
The main character is unbearably annoying from the very start of the book and unfortunately only got more annoying. Both main characters were lacking in personality and depth.
