I seriously love this author—she knows how to craft a vibe that keeps you guessing. Only If You’re Lucky had that moody, elite college feel with secrets bubbling just under the surface. It did start to feel a little repetitive in the middle (like we were circling the same mystery), but the twist made it all worth it. Not her strongest for me, but still a solid, twisty read that kept me turning the pages.

Only if you’re lucky is a book with a college setting,  duel timelines and three interconnected mysteries. Secrets are at the heart of it all. I highly recommend Only if you’re Lucky by Stacy Willingham. FMC Margot two timelines are high school and college. Duel timeline also occurs for all characters pre and post what happens to Levi. Margot’s two best friends not only tie to Levi but to the heart of messy secrets. Author Stacey Willingham writer compelling thriller plot, shocking outcomes but excellent ties the characters develop and narrative together. Tying these elements together creates a tale start to end where reveals makes sense.

I adore Stacy Willingham. Each twist had me gasping out loud. While this one involved a bit more willing suspension of disbelief than her other books, it was still a very enjoyable read. Gave major PLL vibes- Lucy would do and say things and all I could see in my head was Ali. Absolutely delicious.
