Incredibly boring and stupid. Without Williamson’s flowery and unnecessary descriptions of literally everything, it would be half as long too.

First and foremost, the authors ability to write so many eloquent and beautiful similes is incredible! They really added to the story and as someone whose favorite subject was English, I often went “oh that was a good one!” when a new simile came up

Entertaining enough 3.5 rounded up, not a twist I saw coming but didn’t love it

This is my second book by this writer and I loved it.

Everything seems normal in the beginning until you put all the pieces together and realize they are not.

Margot is off to college by herself because her best friend died 3 weeks after graduation.

Year 1 she kinda just blends in, she has a roommate Maggie, but she’s not really making much of a connection.

In comes Lucy, she invites Margot to come stay at the house next to the frat house for the summer since she wasn’t going back home, and if things go well she can chose to stay for the next school year.

Upon meeting everyone she runs into someone from home, Levi. Levi was dating Eliza. Margot did not like Levi because she believe he was coming in between her and Eliza’s relationship.

Eliza also confided in Margot saying she believe Levi was watching her at night, but she didn’t think it was creepy. Someone breaks into their home and take a photo. Margot thinks it’s Levi. Levi told Eliza he thinks it’s Margot. Margot and Eliza get into a friendship ending fight.

To wrap this review up, Margot was the one who actually killed Eliza. She got mad that Eliza told her she was not going to the same college as her. Lucy was actually Eliza’s half sister who was the one watching her at night and the one who broke into their home. Levi ends up dead at the hands of another roommate, Nicole, who mistaken him for her boyfriend who tried to SA her at their Halloween party. Lucy is killed at the hands of the other roommate, Sloan, who didn’t trust Lucy and they needed someone to place the murder of Levi on.

To the police Lucy went missing, and they probably won’t find the body anytime soon.
