There are compelling breadcrumbs throughout this story but the final reveal doesn't do the story justice. Margot's obsession with Lucy is over-the-top but is never fully explained or necessary to the story so it just becomes weird. The final reveal of what happened to Lucy isn't adequately supported by strong character development throughout the story. Its just a meandering story with interesting threads that never come together
