Very slow burn! Kept going to see what the actual truth was. Once the truth started coming about Lucy, I got sucked in. Would have liked it more if it would have had a bit quicker pace. Very interesting read and the twists towards the end really surprised me!

“If you knew you could get away with murder, would you do it?”

Margot isn't living the college life, she's surviving it. Until, one day a girl named Lucy talks her into moving into a house with her and two other girls for the summer. Once there Margot starts to take back her life. Things are going well...until they aren't...then the neighbor boy is found murdered.

What can I say about this book? It just wasn't for me. It was a slow burn with characters I didn't really like. I called one of the twists early on. If you like slow burns in college settings this is definitely for you!!

Thank you to Minotaur Books and Macmillan Audio for the advanced copies of the book in exchange for my review.

Very disappointed in this book. Too many characters, too childish in the characters’ behavior and actions.

Stacy Willingham usually slaps but this was a SLOW burn. Main character a loser until enigmatic popular girl invites her to LIVE as a new roomie after knowing each other for 2 minutes tops?! More mystery than thriller and only got good at 80%

2.5. Disappointed with how this book turned out. I had high hopes and liked the first half a lot more than the second half. Too far fetched
