The Secret

Lee Child

3.66 AVERAGE

A historical Reacher assigned to an MDT hunting the murderer(s) of a list of scientist and the gradual uncovering of the motive.

This is a throwback to when Jack Reacher is back in the Army and has been recently been busted back from Colonel to Captain.

Reacher is asked to joint a task force from several other agencies (FBI, Treasury, CIA) to investigate the murders of several scientists who were on a top secret US project in India in the late 60’s.

Twisty

Another good read, enjoyable and intriguing. Great writing and Reacher at his cold blooded logical self. Great value for money.

Good installment in the series. Reacher is still in the army (and his brother still alive) and is put with an ad hoc team by the Secretary of Defense to find a killer. A certain amount of violence and intrigue ensues.

the way I finished this book with 24 hours…I was drawn in.

This is TV series Reacher and not book Reacher. It was entertaining enough (and so is the TV series), but I do miss book Reacher.

As is my New Year tradition, I read the most recent Jack Reacher book, The Secret. I enjoyed the story and liked the vantage point changes throughout the chapters as the parallel story evolves. It was fun getting to read about Reacher once again being Reacher.

Good ol' Jack Reacher back to being an Army MP in the early 1990s.
