One of my library reads for this month, Ramsey's debut memoir turned a complicated subject into something enjoyable and intriguing to read.
Her personal essays not only give you insight into what it is like to be jousted into the world of activism, but also how to navigate a world where going viral has hard earned positives and life threatening negatives.
Ramsey's book is a good segway into more in depth reads on activism and i really will take one quote to heart:
“Even if you have all the connections in the world, you still have to show up and do the work.”
