This book came into my house, baked me cookies, wrapped me in a warm blanket, and played soft classical music as it listened to me rant about my problems.

what a cute book about the sgv. <3 i love the representation of the southeast asian community in socal and the fantasy and sci fi elements! the execution + writing style left much to be desired, but i’m so representation deprived tbh that i’ll allow it and i hope that this book paves the way for even more southeast asian and queer/trans representation in sci fi! we gotta fr take the sci fi genre back from white men lolz they’ve had it for long enough and for what?

Ultimately I was very bored while reading this book. I kept waiting for something interesting or exciting or new to happen and it never did.

Nothing was surprising about the book either.
I thought there would be more space scenes.

I did not like all the POV switches. There was way too many.

Poor Markus. I wanted more about his character.
