This is another spin-off of the Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel.
In this story Joan of Arc is going to be burned at the stake for being a witch. Her life long friend Sacrath has come to the rescue.

I finished the series a year or two ago, but I'd always really wanted to read this. It was what I was looking for to calm down after my last read, and I enjoyed it.

Don't know why this was 4.5, could be read after book 2. Just a tiny little backstory on Joan and her rescue. Interesting, but I got as much from the books. Glad I borrowed and didn't pay.

Short review: This is a very short story in the same realm as the rest of the Nicholas Flammel books. Doesn't really add much to the story and the basic are already hinted at in the books. But it is cheap and worth the read if you like the series.

It's not that this was bad at all, but there was literally no point to this short book (all 12 pages of it). It didn't give me any new information to the series.
