I'm so confused.
It was a great story, and the artwork was wonderful of course, and it was definitely Sanderson... but I don't know exactly what the moral is. Maybe "love the unlovable"? Even the villains deserve a chance? I hope there's a sequel, or else someone just needs to explain this ending to me. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to take away.

I am not the biggest fan of graphic novels since they read way too fast for me. The problem with Dark One though is it began pretty slow. There was a lot of world building that needed to be accomplished though so I credit it to that. I think this was more enjoyable than White Sand even though I loved the idea of White Sand more.

I like the idea of the protagonist becoming "the prophesied dark one" rather than the hero, but the rest of the story was just cryptic. Everyone spoke in platitudes about light vs dark without any real substance to the story. It looked cool though.
