Dear Ms. Hodkins, please write number two asap. I'm dying of a book hangover here. Yours truly, Me.
Another great book from Michelle Hodkin, While I loved the books more from Mara's perspective I will still consume these with great force.

This book made me feel uncomfy. I dont like noahs pov and this is NOT a young adult book ðŸ˜
Reread this one before starting Reckoning. I am such a fan of the dialogue and distinct voices in this series and getting Noah’s POV was such a joy. I’m loving all the angst and mystery. Looking forward to seeing what Hodkin has in store next!

This book could've been an email. Nothing happened. It wasn't as bad as The Retribution of Mara Dyer, but it's a close second.
... I don't remember disliking Mara this much.
This book is the reason why I read. It's the feeling you get when for the first half of the book, you're on the cusp of putting it down, but you read further and further, and suddenly it's a movie, and you can practically imagine the score that would accompany it. This was that type of book. At the end of it, I was reading the epilogue, and I swear I could hear the sound of violins reaching a crescendo, and then drifting off.
TLDR: The ending is amazing, the rest of the book- not so much. I would however, reread the entire book again just for the ending.

I’m actually so sad about this book, honestly skim read the last 30% as it was so boring and I’m just going to pretend the series ended on the last book in Mara trilogy (I love Noah too! His inner thoughts were interesting but the lack of plot just wasn’t it.)
