Wow. Sometimes a book series finds me just at the right moment. This is one of those moments. Peril, adventure, danger, romance, magic, you got it. However, this books had more questionable content (to my tastes) than the first, but I vastly enjoyed the rest of the story.. Overall a fantastic series, and I'm still very much looking forward to the next two books.

Esto ya se está volviendo muy Harrypotesco. No hay varitas, pero tenemos amuletos. No hay Malfoys, pero están los Bayar. El mejor amigo del protagonista es pelirrojo y por poco no se llama Ron. Harry no sabía que era mago y que provenía de una familia poderosa, Han tampoco. Podría seguir con la lista toda la noche.
Es mejor que el primero. Hay más acción en todos los sentidos, pero tampoco es una maravilla de historia. Mi calificación es más cercana a las 2,7 estrellas, pero tuve que redondear en 3.
PD: No espero mucho del último libro, aún así pienso terminar la saga.

So good. It took a little while to get back into the story but I love the way Chima entertwines all the the characters stories together.

This was still really good. 3.5. It was a lot of building up for the next book. I guess you can't get into to much trouble at school. I had trouble with the time jumps. The book would skip ahead weeks at time and just barely mention it. The education of Han and Dancer was a bit glazed over. I have questions about the way amulets work and what sort of charms wizards can do that are unanswered. The wizards plans seem a bit impossible. So with out getting all spoiler filled, this left me with more questions than answers. Hope to find them in book 3.

"You? Do you even know how to read and write? They can't have lowered the standards that much."
"Well," Han said, "they let you in."

"Why can't it be about what - sometimes, anyway?" Han said, closing his hand over hers. "You just got to ... you just have to claim it. I've learned that nobody's going to hand you anything. You don't get what you don't get after."
