Another book that was ruined for me by a feminist deconstruction of it: What if it were a male tree and a little girl?
And the tree was happy
I just hadn’t read this in a long time. It’s very sad I think. Giving and giving and I guess I’m this case the return is the happiness. I feel sad for the tree.

Simple, cute book with a really good message. A great story to read to younger children.
I did not realize this was a children's book, but I learned a valuable lesson in less than a minute that it took to read the book. In a strange way, it was nice to be reminded of the big picture...especially from a children's book. I recommend everyone picking it up at the library the next time they are there are reading it quickly...but don't check it out. It never has more than 10 words on each page. You could call it a page turner. lol (lame joke)
It is good, maybe a bit to deep for children. This is a book for adults to read to their children and think about their own parents.

This book was really good and I learned that you can keep giving no matter what and you always have to stay strong
