I really liked this book. I read it again since my childhood a few days ago and every time I read it I just feel a little bit better. Nice lesson about friendship.
This is a poignant and timeless tale that is a perfect fit for readers of all ages who appreciate stories about the selfless gift of love, the beauty of giving, and the importance of acceptance, making it a heartwarming and provocative read for families, parents, and children alike.
This story is not about giving. It's about an unhealthy co-dependent relationship. I hate this book and it's moral of giving until you are a bloody stump.
Boo.
Boo.
Sad in the way these classic books often are. Very poignant, but leaves you feeling quite melancholy.
