A classic. Still makes me feel a bit subdued.

SOO good and I seriously hate the boy because he took everything from the tree and left her with nothing while she loved him. I mean like seriously!

This and the Velveteen Rabbit were my two favorite books as a kid!

An alright children's book... although not nearly interesting enough to get my baby brothers interested in it... unfortunately

I needed a fruit on the cover for a cover challenge and I’ve never read this classic children’s book.

The amount of feeling Mr. Silverstein can show in a small amount of words, pages and simple drawings is amazing. ❤️🌳🍎

They stayed friends the whole time. Not sure what the message of this story is though. Give everything of yourself to someone who only takes?
