This book is crude and offensive. Tucker Max seems like a jerk.
He treats women horribly and drinks too much.
That said, I loved it. It made me laugh until I cried. This is a book I will reread many, many times.

I thought this book was hilarious. Awful things he does, but hilarious.
Best part of the book is anal sex story.
Looking back (several years after reading it), I consider buying the 2nd book he wrote, but I'm just not sure I can stomach it all over again now that I'm older and wiser.

I'm torn on what to rate this because there's the dilemma of the possibility of separating the writer from his work. Looking at it objectively, this is a humorous collection of stories about an asshole who lives up to that title in every way possible. I laughed several times because the stories are outlandish and told with a clever voice. But then I'm reminded that they are true stories told from the first person. The guy is a frat boy tool that crosses the line into womanizing misogyny often and borders on racist several times. He's self-important and refers to himself in the third person so often that he fancies himself quite the character. And he admits all of this on the back cover, so does the fact that he addresses his shortcomings excuse him? I'd like to think it doesn't, and yet look at which one of us is the published author here. If I viewed the book as a series of short-fiction stories using a first-person narrator, I'd give it three stars. However, since it has the added dimension of non-fiction and the author is a douchebag, I'm going with two stars.
Completely misogynistic, but quick witty humorous writing
Irreverent, dude humor. Couldn't put this breezy read down.
IHTSBIHT was aweful and degrading to women. It is not for those easily offended. With that being said, it was one of the funniest books I have read in a long time. Many stories were so funny I was laughing to the point of tears. In the end, I did not feel bad for any of the women in this book. In most cases they were willing participants and knew exactly what they were getting into.
This is one of the few books I've read that actually made me laugh out loud.
I am a bit disgusted with myself for finding this book F-ING HILARIOUS. Tucker Max is a pig in the truest sense, and quite possibly the biggest misogynist in the history of mankind, but DAMN, his life is hysterical.
