i don’t think it’s fair to rate a collection of works, but some were definitely standouts for me while others were a bit of a let-down.

At first read, Kafka didn't thrill me. Now that I have to teach it, I've read it a few more times and now, i enjoy it more. There's something haunting about Kafka's works and it leaves a lasting impression. I guess I just didn't "get it" the first time around. Actually, I still don't think I fully "get it" now but I sure as hell enjoy thinking about it.
