Metamorphosis was so mid, penal colony, hunger artist, and the letter to the academy were so much better.

Love, love, love, love, love. I love *every* story in this book, that's really rare.
Very dense, I have to read a story and then take a break before I can start the next one. The emotion really resonates with me.

i really liked metamorphosis, with it’s slightly witty humor and the depressing themes, i continued reading this book for a further 2 stories and i’ve decided to give up at page 115 as it is so heinous and long to read. kafka repeats himself so much, reading some of the stories actually makes my brain feel like it’s rotting, i may try to read it again but i really can’t be bothered
