A really cool concept of the apocalypse that’s perfect for my “The Last Of Us” era. The two main characters were well fleshed out and I could see the character development in their thought processes and actions as the plot played out. Not gonna lie, there were some plot holes by the end of the book, but with the ending, I can totally see the set up for a sequel, which I hope we get so that these can be addressed. I thought that Krauss tackled the theme of whether humanity is really worth saving really well.
