This book was well written and entertaining.

Maybe ive been spoiled by dual Narrators on an audiobook,  ut I had a hard time following who was talking at times. The chapters were longer so if I exited a chapter to come back, I had a hard time figuring out who was saying the dialogue.

Funny and steamy and surprisingly sweet, I really enjoyed this one! New-to-me author, I'm really looking forward to more. :)

loved it!

This was a fun story about friends to lovers. It was romance, so 4⭐️.

This was cute but I didn't like the male lead, loved the MC though

I loved this. Loved loved loved. I’m not sure I’ve ever laughed out loud this many times while reading a book. Kristen Bailey is a legitimately hilarious storyteller. And Mia and Ed! Oh my god, be my friends. Ed is a shy and lovely teacher who happens to be a bit uptight and reserved - and he happens to be a virgin. His best colleague Mia sees a whole other side of him ready to let loose - and she’s happy to assist. Mia is a delightfully outgoing and charming person who’s quite at ease with herself. I could take some confidence lessons from her. The book takes some turns I wasn’t expecting, and I was very satisfied with the outcome. I like how they didn’t build sex up to be this huge terrifying prospect like they did in 40 Year Old Virgin (which is one of my favorite movies and which is smartly mentioned in an early chapter.) This may be Ed’s sex education, but there’s no doubt that Mia learns more about herself as well. Highly recommend. Just make sure you’re easily able to muffle laughter while reading next to someone asleep.

Thank you to NetGalley, Storm Publishing, and Kristen Bailey for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

When I look back, more like 2.5 stars for me. This is a novel that I think would work brilliantly as a show, but was kinda cringe to read about?
I know that doesn't make sense. (Ed's prologue of trying to lose his virginity while at uni was pretty hilarious, though.)
In terms of sex ed, Mia and Ed are the complete antithesis of Chandler and Finn in Rachel Lynn Solomon's "Business or Pleasure," in that Mia's just the most uninspiring teacher and made me want to quit the book several times--actually I got about a third in before I had to skip through the audiobook--and I was listening 1.5-2x speed--because Mia and Ed's pairing was so uninspiring to me.

What happens when you agree to give sex lessons to your 28yo virgin BFF? I was laughing out loud within the first two chapters. That said, there was actually a bunch of good sex education involved in a fun way. Of course you know how it's going to end but it was fun getting there.
