This was a really beautiful story about Amberlee who fell in love with her brother’s best friend when she was 15 years old.
He moved away with a daughter on the way, and a wife. 7 years later they get their second chance. It was a long way to get there, but boy was it worth it. Jeremiah is the picture perfect guy, and an amazing person. Loved their chemistry from the start.
Sweet, fun and easy read. I devoured it in one sitting

Sweet Second Chance

This was such a sweet feel good story. It was like a smutty Halmark movie. Amberlee and Jeremiah get a second chance to explore their feelings for each other and it is romantic and cozy and also steamy. The end was super cute and such a sweet HEA that you can help but feel good after reading it.

What sweet story about a young woman, Amberlee, that loved a young man, Jeremiah. It would have worked except Jeremiah was best friends since youth with her over protective older brother, Ryan. Ryan didn’t think anyone was good enough for his sister. It was entertaining story that was fun to read and ended to soon.

This was a wonderful love story! A bit of brother's best friend, single dad, and forbidden love with an age gap make a great combination! It was definitely a super sweet read. I love how protective Jeremiah is of Amberlee, and how sweet and romantic it is that she always waited for him. There is some steam, and sweet, and a little angst and drama but a HEA. Amazing read!

This was such a feel good, sappy, forbidden romance. Brother’s best friend, slight age gap, met too soon.
And because he couldn’t be with her he made a not so smart choice. Now years later they have a second chance. Seeing their back and forth and how he fought for her was beautiful. I loved their interactions and watching her come to terms with the fact that he did want her. I know I will be re-reading this story. The spice was awesome and the love story even better!

This is not a typical Bre story, but man, did she outdo herself with this sweet, sweet tale! Ugh, I absolutely loved Jeremiah and Amberlee! Man, oh man, they definitely take the cake for me! I'm so glad to finally get their full story since i read a snip it in the forbidden desires anthology! Brother's best friend is one of my favorite troupes ! Bre sure knows how to suck you in and ruin you and bring you back ! Hands down a 5 star read for me! But really nothing new when it comes to Bre , she writes it I love it!

Ahh this was such a sweet story. Like low angst, cotton candy sweet and enough fluff to have you giggling and kicking your feet. I love the fact that they each love each other so much. I’m a sucker for a short and sweet love story. Jeremiah knew exactly what he wanted (Amberlee) and he was going to get her at all cost. Also Amberlee’s SIL Maddy is a firecracker and made the wind-up so much better!

Amberlee has been in love with her older brother’s best friend Jeremiah since she was 15 yours old. But after a surprise pregnancy for Jeremiah results in him having a wife and baby, Amberlee gave up on her dreams of having Jeremiah as hers. After seven years she decided to move closer to her brother and hopes that the old flames she had for Jeremiah has gone away. Unfortunately that did not happen and it came back just as bright as before.Jeremiah has also not made it easy to avoid him as he has also been I love with her all these years (after divorcing his ex). The only thing that stand in their way is Amberlee’s brother who is very overprotective of his baby sister. Can they find a way to have their HEA?

I really enjoyed this book. A little forbidden romance, brothers best friend and a small age gap. I liked that even though her brother wasn’t exactly thrilled she stood her ground and chose what is best for her heart!

This was just swoon-worthy. Jeremiah is *drool*. This was such a wonderful second-chance romance. And who doesn’t love a brother’s best friend trope! Amberlee and Jeremiah have known each other for a long time, but when Jeremiah has something unexpected happen, his whole life is changed, which devastates Amberlee, who tries her best to move on with her life. Years later, Amberlee decides to move closer to her brother and his family, and, consequently, closer to Jeremiah. However, some circumstances have changed for Jeremiah and he’s determined not to let Amberlee slip through his fingers again! This book is definitely for those who love some sweetness, some family drama, some other woman drama, and of course, lots of romance!
