Quite entertaining. Some parts had me laughing for minutes straight.

I don't rate nonfiction reads, but this was okay. A pretty quick read (audiobook is under 10 hours). There are a few poignant moments, mostly between Bryson and Katz, but overall I'm glad it was an easy/fast read. I won't go out of my way to recommend, though it mostly held my attention. I'd probably like this more if I had a hiking hobby, but alas, I'd rather read books all day.

I'm embarrassed to say, at 48 years old, this is the only real book I've read. ADHD prevented me from being a reader. I was all about the AT and obviously I had to read a book about it. Finished it in a few days while I was able to focus. Now I've discovered Adderal and I'm finally able to concentrate. I'll always be thankful to this book for being so good it held my attention

I really enjoyed this book. It made me laugh, sigh, and feel in awe of the forest we get to hike in. It definitely makes me want to quit my job and go hike the AT!

Hated it the whole way through and then was kinda sad when it was over

Terrific book. Well written and engaging.
