I loved this. I really really loved this. I can't say anything about it because I've fallen prey to the Spideypool ship so my brain has turned to mush, but still, this comic is everything that makes a Deadpool comic so great, plus: Spider-man. 'Nuff said.

Did I read the same book as everyone else? This volume was almost unreadable.

This volume has a main story involving Spidey and some stupid monkey assassin. It is then followed by an absolutely pointless and slightly offensive story about bad cops in Georgia. It is then capped off with an origin story about that stupid assassin monkey that I didn't care about the first time.

The Deadpool Spider-man team up was incredibly lame. Spider-man played the straight man, devoid of his characteristic wit, and actually kind of came off as a bit of an ass. Deadpool was written as some dumb dog begging for approval, and of course the greatest sin of all was that he wasn't at all funny. There was absolutely no cleverness to this story. A story with these characters together should have me rolling on the floor.

The team up disappointed me, but it was nothing compared to the train wreck that followed. Here is a sample of the type of humor you can expect from this story...Deadpool is dreaming of Thor and he tells him "you have girl hair....you are a doofus" I'm sorry was this written by a 7 year old? Long hair is gross...ew

Aside from the complete lack of humor, the story is just nothing. Deadpool doesn't really do anything. He comes up against Southern cops that all speak in such a painfully cliched and over the top dialogue that I wanted to just slap the book shut and quit, which is what I eventually did out of frustration during the last issue. Seriously who thought anyone cared about the stupid Hit Monkey?

Overall this was stupid. Stupid characters, stupid dialogue, stupid plots, stupid stupid stupid!
