Loved this thriller and was enthralled the entire time. In one timeline, Ellie, a 15-year-old with everything ahead of her, goes missing. In the second, Ellie’s mother meets a man who is involved in Ellie’s disappearance, but initially she falls for him romantically before finding out the truth. It’s dark but no huge twists or big reveals. The author simply leads you through the story. I enjoyed the pacing and overall storyline.
