A wildly complex and stunning book. Made me feel very basic as a queer person and not very smart lol. But also I was deeply moved by many of its messages, especially how people’s history and legacies meld together and impact each other and the world around them, and how we’re never really alone, or dead, because of the impact we make.

LOVED the structure of this. reminded me a lot of in the dream house at times, but didn’t find the characters were that engaging, i felt like i didn’t really know them at all however i think that was a failing on my part and i got caught up in structural idiosyncrasies
