3.5. I think this book is extremely impressive, even if I am not its ideal reader at this point in my life. The core of fact at the center of this book was fascinating, I absolutely will be seeking more information on Jan Gay & co., and I enjoyed the formal inventiveness, but the dialogic frame of the story never became real for me or justified its existence and therefore I found myself wishing I was just reading straight nonfiction. Obviously a personal preference.
