Shorter than I'd thought it would be. Pretty dark, but subtly humorous. I'm curious to see how they built a whole TV series off of it!

The Netflix series is better. Much better, honestly you just need to watch that. Obviously, this needs credit as the original subject matter, but the plot differs slightly, so they aren't identical.

I finished reading this for the story (but honestly it took me a about 30 minutes), and because I could draw on my knowledge of watching the TV series first, as they do a much better job of fleshing out the characters.

The art in this book is very very basic. You can tell it was meant as a small project, as it was initially published as separate short mini-comics. I dislike the sketch style, personally, and for the price of the book (luckily my local library had it) I would have liked better revisions, including MUCH more detail and better storyboarding. Many times panels were so similar they felt like they had been repeated. Other times, the illustration made it unclear what the action was, and the characters seemingly jumped from place to place with no context.

There are plenty of webcomics you can view online for free that have way more attention and care put into them. This comic feels like it was drawn by a bored teenager in class and then stitched together last minute to make a 'book'. Seriously, just watch the TV show.
