It was a nice cross over between Egyptian and Greek mythology. I find the characters funny and I always love good fiction books. Overall these were really good short stories

The thrilling conclusion to Sadie and Carter’s story as they meet a couple new friends ready to save the world again. 

Percy and Annabeth find out about Egypt and once again the world is in trouble. This was a fun way to end the Egyptian storyline and a great crossover between the pantheons that shows us just why the gods don’t mix.

Yes!! This is so much fun!! Demigods & Magicians contains three connected short stories (which are actually rather long!) that crossover the Greek and Egyptian worlds in SUCH a creative way. This felt classically Rick to me! He is so talented at using real mythology and spinning it to make sense in his context. It works so well! I also absolutely LOVED seeing the Kane siblings from someone else’s POV. It made them more realistic to me for some reason. Their interactions with Percy and Annabeth are hilarious and very believable from what we know about the four of them and their personalities. This also answered the questions Rick left us with at the end of the Kane Chronicles trilogy which was so satisfying!
