Riordan has always been famous for his perfect blend of classical mythology and modern wit and humor. This book is no exception. Persassy is still living up to his name, and he and Annabeth are still two of the greatest heroes of our age. The addition of Carter and Sadie Kane, along with the blend of Greek and Egyptian mythology, in this book made it especially interesting. Maybe we'll get to see some Norse lore blended in as well?

A must read for any fans of Percy Jackson or the Kanes. The humor kept me laughing all the way through even while I was learning more about mythology. Another great story from Riordan.

The short stories were fairly enjoyable to read but not very well done. The stories were too short for the threat posed to be dealt with realistically and just felt rushed. The stories included a series of unlikely coincidences and weren’t very plausible. The crossover of the Egyptian and Greek mythologies was explained poorly and didn’t make sense. The way Riordan explained how they worked together didn’t seem to have much thought put into it and the whole situation should have been given more importance. It was never even mentioned again afterwards or expanded on. It’s worth reading as a continuation of their stories but they aren’t very good and just raise more questions.

I loved this book! The part where Percy says Sadie looks and acts like what he would picture a child of him and Annabeth to be like- so cute.

I still think they should have told more people like come on why was everyone blaming Nico about knowing about the Romans if Percy and Annabeth are gonna turn around and keep this a secret
