This was a nice companion book to read to the other series' about these characters. I loved every book with Percy and Annabeth I could get my hands on and I read and enjoyed the three books with the Kanes. This book gave me both of these worlds together which was awesome. I think I read the first story in this book in one of the other books, but I re-read it here and enjoyed it again. The other two stories were new to me and I enjoyed them immensely. While this was not a long book, it was still very good. I wish there were more stories out there about Percy and Annabeth now.
Thank you Rick Riordan for writing novels that are fun and witty. Novels that can help me unwind and forget about my dissertation (even if it's only for a few hours).

I haven't read the Kane Chronicles yet, but I LOVE the Percy Jackson series (and Heroes of Olympus) this little collection of Novellas take place after the events of Heroes of Olympus.
I love revisiting old characters and really enjoy how Rick Riordan continues to meld mythology with modern day world, and I love the fact that he's mixing his series together too (Greek/Egyptian, Greek/Roman, Greek/Norse)

Whilst it had an interesting story plot between the mash up of Greek and Egyptian it wasn’t enough to keep me hooked or really want to know what happens. Its suppose to be 3 mini stories but really it was just like 3 long chapters
