I really enjoyed the world and social settings of the book. The trolls were super interesting and the magic system intrigued me massively.
I enjoyed the story as a whole but did find the pacing to be a little confusing, sometimes there are pages of second-by-second action and sometimes months skip from one paragraph to the next which left a few things feeling unexplored.
Overall, I think it had a lot of really well-done unique stuff in it, and I am glad I finished it for sure!
