A bit simplistic. This had a strong start, but by the end fizzled out little in my books. I enjoyed hearing Aaron Paul narrate, but maybe James Patterson is not really for me. Good acting tho!
Moderate: Addiction, Cursing, Death, Drug use, Physical abuse, Violence, Murder
A little weak in depth of characters & story, but still a quick and enjoyable listen.

Great voice acting and production quality - utterly wasted on this derivative poorly researched story. It's clear that Patterson knows next to nothing about block-chain, competitive gaming, smart-devices, police procedures.... There were so many times listening to this when I just had to suspend my disbelief hoping that the story would pay off. Nope, it just plows it's way into a rut of dull stupidity and wallows there until the predictable ending when the family of cops pull the mask off the bad guy just like a scooby-doo episode. At least it was short.

Prequel to The Black Book by James Patterson (Audible)
Audi-dramas are not my favorite, I prefer one or two narrators reading the story rather than actors acting it out. That said, I did enjoy this. They mystery was taut. The characters interesting and dynamic. I haven't read any of the Billy Harney series, but this taste has me interested in reading more.
