While I didn’t like this as much as I did the first book in the series, I did enjoy the adventure. Tina is my favorite character. I hope someone has drawn fan art of her. I need to find some.

I love a murder mystery where everyone is at least a little bit terrible. It makes guessing the murderer so much more fun.
And now I know Lafferty and Ursula Vernon are friends! It makes their shared bug books cuter.

This was a really fun sequel to Station Eternity. A new group of humans on the station, a new murder, and something being off with the Sundry while Mrs. Brown heads off to learn more about her role means a lot of chaos.

Like everything around Mallory when coincidences and circumstance align things get odd almost as soon as Mrs. Brown leaves the station with Mallory in charge. The group of humans coming to the station include 3 people she knows, the Sundry are behaving oddly, Xan is left without Infinity as Mrs. Brown took her for transportation, and Tina is taking her role as Queen very seriously. I do have to say Tina was the standout delight in this book. Her entire goal is to help people and she does it in a series of ways that seems off the wall and bizarre, but ultimately work. I loved every sentence we spent in Tina's POV.

Everyone is out of their element in this book and it brought out a lot of different sides of characters we didn't get to see in Station Eternity. It was fun, the murder mystery came together in a way that made perfect sense in retrospect, and we got to learn more about how the universe and the various species in it operate.

Highly recommend for anyone who was a fan of Station Eternity. Not recommended for people who didn't enjoy that.

This was slow to start for me. I had forgotten a lot of what happened in the last book and it took a while to get my bearings. Once it does get going it’s extremely chaotic, which makes sense given the title, but made it a little hard to follow everything.

This got off to a slow start and the pacing was weird for the first 3rd of the book, but once things got going it was just as much fun as Station Eternity. I hope there are many more books in this series. I also love Tina forever and still want a prequel about her.
