5/5 stars
Still loving all of these. Carey's art continues to be great. I loved Hurley and Sloane's designs, and there were a lot of great Taako faces and moments. This is one of my least favourite arcs, but even saying that, it's still five stars due to it simply being that I enjoy the others better. I was happy to see that they were able to change the ending the way Griffin wanted to. Also, lots of good queer moments that they really leaned into.

Another fun adventure with some very heartfelt moments, while also making me laugh more than any of the previous entries!

I feel so overwhelmed, this one was so good! One of the best arcs, in my opinion, and it didn't feel very far off from the podcast. Well, aside from all that foreshadowing that we wouldn't have even been able to have the first time around. The boys are definitely putting in a lot of work to make this a more cohesive story, and I'm a huge, huge fan of it.
The lads stay true to how they've always been, troublemakers, but a HUGE shout out to Taako's speech getting a full page spread. Everyone always talks about Merle and the plants being the highkey best podcast moment of the arc, but I gotta say I wasn't expecting them to focus on Justin's tiny rant while he tried to push character. Hurley and Sloane definitely got way better treatment here, and I think it'll make any fan happy.
All in all, so happy I finally got my copy! Onto Crystal Kingdom!

I’m really enjoying seeing this podcast come to life in graphic novel format. Petals to the metal wasn’t my favourite podcast arc but so far its been my favourite graphic novel as the characters are really coming into their own. Love the art, love the story, and love my tres horny boys.
