Wonderfully entertaining.

An epitome of satire, humor, innocence, friendship, philosophy and profoundness. The concept of bringing out all these through a 6-year-old kid is what is commendable. Never get bored of reading it a million times!

I don’t know if a family, much less a childhood, without Calvin and Hobbes would be complete. Frankly, once it stopped being published, my newspaper readership dropped off significantly. Everyone needs to smile, needs a little imagination in their life, and needs a little bit of Calvin and Hobbes.

And if anyone is up for a game of Calvinball, just give me a call.

A fine way to round out the year. I'm still reading another novel, but this choice seemed so perfect - why not end the year with a laugh - that I had to indulge. It's Calvin and Hobbes - 5 stars.

Calvin and Hobbes is my childhood. I waited every day to read the comics and waited for each book to appear. I would hide somewhere in my house and just delve into his world. One of the few books that had me in hysterics...and one I could share with my sisters and my Dad. Recently, I realized I miss Hobbes and decided to try and track down a book or two. I found this one in the clearance section of my Barnes and Noble....grabbed a blanket and hid in my hammock for a couple of evenings to return ot my childhood and the world of Calvin and Hobbes. He still made me laugh...and I still wished I had my own stuffed tiger.
Read if you enjoy comics.

I’ve been reading this a bit at a time each evening for several weeks... nice way to end a day.

Kindle version review

I love the content, hate the format. I wish the kindle version was optimized for graphic novel reading. There is no way to zoom in on a frame to read the print easily. There is no way to zoom in on a page, period, in the kindle iPad app. Very disappointed with the kindle versions of Calvin and Hobbes.
