There were a few hiccups in the editing and writing but overall I quite liked the book.

It was not something exceptional or exactly crazy. It was satisfying though.

I wanted more from the final confrontation of George. It felt too clean to just have everything all tied up in a nice little bow with everything being blamed on Jeremy

Also the brain tumour was sooooooo lame. Like really? It added nothing to the story. All of her symptoms were aligned with psychosis (which SHE WAS EXPERIENCING - call me crazy but when you start murdering people and eating their eyeballs then start hallucinating, you might be in psychosis). It felt so grating to just add that it like "oh look - I'm not an awful person, it was just the tumour - teehee" as if her stomach contents doesn't include the optic nerve if some man.

Anyway, it was honestly kinda camp and wish the author committed to the Alexis plot line
that was gay. if you don't think so, then you're as blind as her victims <3

A lot different than I was expecting but it was perfectly gory for me.

I didn't expect to like this book. I'm surprised that I did. You think (based on the summary) that it's a serial killer young woman that wants to kill her mother's new boyfriend. It's more than that. There are side quests and issues that you aren't aware of until the very end. I was surprised by the ending because so much happens in the last few chapters. I can usually tell how a book is going to end, but not this book. Definitely worth a read.
