"It's an awful thing to miss someone who is still here."
That hit so close to home. I lost my father a few years ago, when he was in a post-operative delirium and sometimes didn't remember who I was. My brilliant, wise and kind father who I had the privilege to know and love.

This book broke me into pieces. Im sure I’ll pick up a lesson or two with every re-read in the future.

A beautiful little story about life, Illness and grief. Backman is always a joy to read, his way with words is incredible and this book is no different.
