The fourth installment in the “Can’t Help Falling in Love” series, Deliverance packs a punch of emotions. Troy and Jo have a history, but that ended five years ago. Since then, Jo met and married an abusive man, that is now her ex-husband. But now, Troy is back – can they put their history aside and begin again?

In true Evelyn Montgomery fashion, this is a story with angst and a myriad of emotions. Jo is coming off an abusive relationship and is trying to process that by moving away with her daughter. Troy is broken and feels unworthy of happiness, having returned from a recent deployment. Basically, the reader has two broken souls processing their individual traumas, and it is sometimes difficult, yet compelling, to read.

If you’re looking for a second chance romance with protector vibes and plenty of angst, give Deliverance a read!

Special thanks to the author for the ARC. All thoughts in this review are honest and my own.

Deliverance by Evelyn Montgomery is a rollercoaster of a ride. This story was full of lust, spice, and adventure.
Jolene is a fierce independent women who knows just what she wants. Troy knows what he wants but doesn't know just how to get it. These two together are a match made in heaven. This story had me on the edge of my seat many times throughout the book.
Absolutely loved the story line and the characters. Can't wait to read more by Evelyn!

This is my second book from this author. I have the same opinion as the first book.
The story line is great, it has all the angst and troubles that I would like in a book.

Jo and Troy are my new favorites in these sets of characters! I relate to Jo a little bit. She's a single mother trying to do it all. Work and provide for her little girl while keeping them safe. Both physically and emotionally. I went through that mentality for abit till my husband came along and quite literally bonded with my girl like Troy did with Anna May!

Their love goes through some tough situations. And they work it out. They push and make it through and that’s what matters. I cannot express how much I loved their story. I went through long distance due to military, I have family who used to go through it and friends who are still going through it and those men, women and children are some of the strongest families I know!

I absolutely loved this book!

This series gets better and better with each book. Troy and Jolene's story is truly heart wrenching. They both have been through a lot of horrible stuff. I'm so glad they found their way to love as they both really deserved to be happy.
