2,5 stars. Meh. A little predictable and without much drama until ~80%.

So after a big series, I find MM clears my mind and this book hit the spot. I loved how open and honest they were with each other. Cooper really didn’t get too freaked out and I loved that he talked about his feelings and how he was freaked out with them.
Noah was perfect he understood and let things fall as they would he never pushed it was a great book. The chemistry is exactly what I love with MM books.
Oh, the narration is fantastic too. :)

I love a friends to lovers romance so I was all in when I started this book. Noah and Cooper have a great friendship and an every better relationship. I'm not normally a fan of Gay for You but it works in this book. This one was sweet and sexy all in one. My favorite thing is always when someone important is an ass and doesn't accept the relationship and the couple shrugs it off and knows that all that matters in how they feel. Melts my heart every time!
Luke Itzvic was perfect! I think this is my first time listening to him and I will be looking for more.

“Collide” is a sweet, sexy and classical gay for you story. The story has several layers to it and there are flashbacks from when Noah and Cooper were younger as well as from their own histories, the past mixes with the present in many ways. Cooper still struggles with the trauma of losing his parents in a fire, one of the reasons why he’s working as a firefighter, and Noah is great with helping him deal with it. The chemistry and attraction between the character is very well portrayed, as well as how they both go about the growing emotions between them - Cooper especially since he's never been attracted to a guy before.
Cooper and Noah make such an adorable couple and I love how honest Cooper is throughout the book. The banter between the characters is great and I feel like it helps to cement their friendship. Their story has low angst with focus on the GFY aspect, but even if the development between the characters is heavily focused, there is also a good plot as well as interesting side stories going on.
Overall a very well written and interesting start to the Blackcreek series!
