4 stars. Such an adorable first volume! I genuinely enjoyed it. The artwork is lovely and I really like the characters already. Yamada is really shy and Kase-san is on the track team and is a bit of a tomboy. Yamada is smitten with her even though she goes through some gay panic and the phrase “but she’s a girl!” is said a lot it felt real. They’re teenagers and this crush that Yamada has feels true to first crushes and it was absolutely precious, especially the ending. I’m excited to continue on.
