So many things about this book were just pretty bad but I stayed for the battles. I now wonder if I should have just stopped

This is my favorite book now, for real!! I was blown away by the details and so surprised at the twists and turns. I was at the edge of my seat the whole time, and that's saying something because I'm extremely picky with what I read. I want to buy this I love it so much.

I absolutely loved the book, especially the dynamic between the different characters and how their relationships develop. It is beautifully written and it was rather easy to create an image of the entire world in your head.

The only thing that keeps me from giving this book five stars is the fact that Lennox killed Annika's mother and everyone seemed to be quite okay with it rather quickly.

Otherwise it was absolutely perfect!

What a great read! Of course, it's no Selection, but really, what is? "A Thousand Heartbeats" is a great YA story and I loved the enemies-to-lovers and how they became lovers. The ending was a bit too mainstream for me but still a solid 4 stars!
