This was a great wrap up to wrath and Emelia story. I will forever remember these two for not only being my introduction to something different than the usual fantasy i read, but how full circle there story was☆.

The only thing that made me rate this a two stars, was the banter between the brothers… other than that DNF. I got tired of both Emilia and Wrath.

KOTF was my favorite of the series. Again – and I think I’ve said this for all – was it the best book I’ve ever read? No. But it wasn’t the worst either. I finally got some questions answered, albeit I was still confused on the logistics of things. Whether that’s my own fault or the author’s I don’t know. I also think it could be due to my inability to listen to fantasy books on audio. I don’t understand the historic bond they had, how Wrath didn’t recognize her in the first, how her lost power became his wings, and honestly, just Wrath’s wings in general. I don’t understand why they were such an important part of the books just for him to give them up in the end. Not to mention – the series ends with her getting chained to the wall, bumpin uglies with Wrath??? The storyline was okay, but the romance was great. A little cringey at times, but still good overall. I don’t know if I will read Throne of the Fallen. If it’s as confusing as KOTW, then I’ll just have to pass.
