So. Much. Chatter. I knew going in that this author has a trademark set of characteristics for the MCs. Luckily for me, I do like my formulas of overly chatty MCs with snarky banter. This was a fun book to read.
I won't lie. I giggled when Leland firstmet saw Jackson. It was cute and I love all the flirting that went on. In terms of realism, this wouldn't fly, but it's a fun story.

Why was this book so god damn funny?!?!?! I was literally laughing out loud and having a grand old time reading it. There was something about this kind of humor that was refreshing and surprising and very enjoyable to read.
IDK why I thought it was so funny that they moved in together before they even got into a real relationship.
I'm a sucker for a good meet cute and this definitely had that. I adore when there's characterization in the smexy scenes and we definitely had that.
Leland is an absolute legend and I loved his chaotic self. I just love how much Jackson would do anything for him pretty much immediately even though he tries to fight it. I'm obsessed with how they make each other better and improve each other's lives.
Even when there was tension and they didn't communicate, it felt in character and was still resolved in a way that had me fully believing these two will create chaos together for the rest of their lives.
