If you love Alice in Wonderland I highly recommend this book. It made me feel as if I was in wonderland. Marissa Meyer's writing is so beautiful.

I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was fantastic!

The story was interesting and entertaining, but it was slow. I found myself counting the hours, until it was done at times. Not that I wasn't enjoying it, it just sometimes felt long. This was also pretty predictable, but the ending was really good!

The romance was also not my favorite, but I didn't mind it. I just wasn't crazy about it. Which is kind of surprising because I'm usually head over heals in love with Marissa's romances!

The vivid descriptions of the delicious food had me craving it so badly!

Cath was a very unique character, and I liked her some of the time...The only issue was that I felt as if I didn't really know her. I never knew what she was going to do next. Jest was okay, but not my favorite character.

For the most part I really liked this story!

I am currently on chapter 9 And it does start fairly well with the hopes and dreams of our protagonist. Here is what I like so far:
- this book has a ton of Alice in Wonderland direct references.
-there is a but of whimsy and hoped for romance with the dreams resulting in things growing in MC's room (like is this a normal thing in wonderland?)
- Jester brings new questions....where is he from? Is he from her dreams too? Why can he do the impossible in a Wonderland where many things would seem less than impossible
