Boring. Created a reading slump for me because I couldn’t get into it. Tried again 1/7/25 (6-7 months later) and barely made a page in. DNF

I didn't like this story. Nicholas Sparks lost me when his two characters tell each other "I love you" after one weekend. Such a thing does not happen in the real world. The whole story was ridiculous and completely predictable. Maybe the movie will be better than the book.

Very Nicholas Sparksy.

I was suprised how much I enjoyed this book. It's not usually my type of book, but I found myself interested in the characters and wondering how everything would turn out. This is a good romance that reads quickly.

5/31-I am having a really hard time with this book. Has anyone else read it? I am thinking of just quiting the book. I really can't stand the character Gabby. She gets on my nervous way to much. She doesn't know how to talk to people, she really seems stupid and just isn't a character I am falling in love with or carrying about. Anyone else have thoughts?

6/3- Yeah I really didn't care for this book. It was hard for me to get into it because I really couldn't stand Gabby. She just got on my nervous. I wanted to smack her through the book. Maybe if her character had been different I could have enjoyed the story more, but her character was just flat and I really didn't feel like Travis matched Gabby at all. Not a good read for me.

An easy read - a guilty pleasure. Predictable, as most Sparks books are.

It's starting off good. Doesn't seem like it will be a usuall Nicholas Sparks tear-jerker. Thank gosh.
