The Choice

Nicholas Sparks

I think Nicholas Sparks writes love stories that are more relatable and modern. This book pulled me in a couple of directions. There were parts of it that I could relate to in my more recent dating years, and parts of it that frustrated me to the point that I threw it across the room. I rolled my eyes and scoffed while reading it to the point that my boyfriend had to be let-in on what was going on. I wasn't going to finish it, but it stared at me... just lying there on the floor, waiting to be finished. So, I did. I finished it. Then I realized, the parts that I hated most, were actually the parts that I could relate to more than others. This realization actually made me like the book a bit more. It solidifies for me that no relationship is perfect. A big portion of a successful relationship really is a matter of the choices we make and the efforts we put forth. Not a bad find for a book I picked up at the Dollar Store I happened to browse on one of my walks.

Gabby shouldn't have woke up from the coma, the fact that she did made the novel so unrealistic and irritating, personally i would rather to read a heartbreaking novel than unreal one.
Also it would have a better novel if Gabby wasn't with someone else in the begining, cheating is not romantic, and she have been with him for 4 years !! it is impossible to fall in love with someone in just two days !!

loved the book!!!... =)
